Phalia: Six people were killed and seven others injured in an explosion of fireworks in the town of Phalia in Mandi Bahauddin district of Punjab.
The incident took place in the Kot Phale Shah area of Mandi Bahauddin district of Punjab. The explosion occurred due to a fire in fireworks. The deceased include four women and a girl.
On receiving the information about the incident, rescue teams immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital, and the condition of several injured is said to be critical.
Police teams also reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The police have started investigating the incident.
