Mardan: Pakistan Army is determined to modernize its infantry as part of its overall drive to prepare for the future threats, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Friday.

The Army chief was interacting with the officers and troops during his visit to the Punjab Regimental Centre in Mardan, says a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
General Qamar Bajwa praised the Regiment for displaying the highest standards in all professional pursuits including their exemplary performance in operations.
The Army chief also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada during his visit.
