Court extended protective bail of CM by three weeks
Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has extended the protective bail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur by three weeks.
PHC Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Waqar Ahmed heard the application filed for the protective bail of Ali Amin Gandapur and details of the cases.
While giving arguments in the court, the Advocate General KP said that Chief Minister Ali Amin has gone to a negotiation meeting headed by Speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, he cannot appear. Hence, the application for exemption has been filed.
After the hearing, the PHC extended the protective bail of the Chief Minister by three weeks and ordered not to arrest him in the registered cases.
Later, the court adjourned the further hearing of the case till February 11.
