Meeting discussed the regional security situation and bilateral defense cooperation


Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir met with the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Armed Forces, the Army Chief met with the Iranian Chief of General Staff Major General Mohammad Baqeri at GHQ Rawalpindi.
According to the ISPR, the meeting discussed the regional security situation and bilateral defense cooperation.
On this occasion, Major General Baqeri laid flowers at the Martyrs’ Memorial at GHQ, while a well-dressed contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor to the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, added ISPR.
