Pakistan wants to make Gaza habitable again

Islamabad: Pakistan has welcomed the Gaza ceasefire agreement and once again demanded accountability for Israeli crimes.
While addressing a weekly media briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that Pakistan has welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza since January 19 and continues to support the two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson stated that Pakistan demands accountability for Israeli crimes and wants to make Gaza habitable again.
Responding to the question of Afghan deportation, the Foreign Office Spokesperson added that Pakistan is following the policy of sending Afghans to a third country, including the United States. So far, we have not been provided with any information from the United States in this regard.
Talking about the Indus Waters Treaty, Shafqat Ali further said that the Indus Waters Treaty between Pakistan and India is a fundamental agreement related to water. The recent decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) supported Pakistan’s position on the Kishanganga Dam. Pakistan is fully committed to this agreement. It is hoped that India will also ensure the implementation of this agreement.
The Foreign Office spokesperson also stated that a tragic boat accident took place in Morocco last week. 25 Pakistanis were fortunately saved, whose list has been shared. The incident is being monitored further. Moroccan authorities have fully cooperated in all matters.
He continued to say that Pakistan is keen to join BRICS, and there has been no change in its position on this.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that they were closely monitoring the situation in Syria and support all efforts to restore peace in Syria.
