Congressman Green reaffirms his dedication to supporting Pakistan, sharing plans to visit again soon


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi met with U.S. Congressman Alexander Green, a key member of the Congressional Finance Committee, to discuss strengthening Pakistan-U.S. relations.
During the meeting, Naqvi talked about the challenges Pakistan faces, including terrorism and cross-border infiltration from Afghanistan. He also thanked Congressman Green for his ongoing support, especially for his help to victims of earthquakes and floods in Pakistan.
Naqvi praised Green for his strong stance on the Palestine issue, calling his support “commendable and widely appreciated.” He noted that Pakistan-U.S. relations are improving and expressed hope for further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
Congressman Green reaffirmed his dedication to supporting Pakistan, sharing plans to visit again soon. "I have visited Pakistan four times to help its people during natural disasters, and I will continue to stand with them," he said.
The meeting was also attended by Pakistan's Consul General in Houston, Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry, and prominent Pakistani-American businessman Tahir Javed. Both expressed support for the growing cooperation between the two nations.
