US Air Force is the world’s top air force


Karachi: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has secured the seventh position in the list of the world’s most powerful air forces.
According to a report by Global Firepower.com, the Pakistan Air Force is considered one of the best air forces in the world, having played a significant role by adding 1,434 aircraft to its fleet.
Global Firepower determines its ranking by examining the number and types of aircraft.
The US Air Force is the world’s top air force with 5,737 helicopters, 1,854 fighters, and 3,722 support aircraft, while its annual defense budget is $800 billion. Russia and China are in second and third place respectively, and China is rapidly modernizing its air force.
According to the report, despite the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Russia is a dominant power with significant air capabilities. China’s air force is being equipped with advanced technologies, including sixth-generation fighter jets and supersonic aircraft.
The importance of the Pakistan Air Force is unparalleled not only globally but also in South Asia, where it is a key player. In addition, Egypt, Turkey, and France are also among the top 10.
