Wildlife department has started official inquiry and is considering charging him with terrorism

Lahore: Punjab's wildlife department has taken strong action after a worker at Lahore’s Jallo Park was accused of deliberately unlocking a lion's cage.
The worker, Sharif Masih, was arrested for opening the enclosure on purpose. The wildlife department has started an official inquiry and is considering charging him with terrorism.
A three-member committee has been formed to investigate, including the director of Lahore Zoo, the deputy director of wildlife Lahore, and a veterinary officer from Safari Park.
Officials have been told to complete the inquiry within 12 hours.
The park staff acted quickly, tranquilising the lion and safely returning it to its cage. The department confirmed that a sedative was later used to fully revive the animal.
