WhatsApp Beta launches event scheduling for individual chats
Previously, this feature was only available in group chats

(Web Desk): WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in its beta version that allows users to create and share events in one-on-one chats. This feature is available in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.3.6 for Android and version 25.2.10.73 for iOS. It lets users schedule and manage events directly in private conversations.
Previously, this feature was only available in group chats, but now it is accessible in individual chats as well. Users no longer need to rely on external calendars or third-party apps to schedule personal appointments or meetings. The event creation option is now part of the sharing menu in private chats, alongside options to share media like photos, videos, or documents.
Users can add details such as event name, date, time, location, and even include a link for a WhatsApp video or voice call. Those using the WhatsApp beta program on Android or iOS can update their apps to see if the feature is available. If not, it is expected to be rolled out to all users soon, including those not in the beta program.
