Islamabad: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's party, the Awam Pakistan Party, has been allotted an election symbol. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has granted the party the symbol of a wall clock.
The Awam Pakistan Party submitted the results of its intra-party elections to the ECP, which has recognized them.
It is noteworthy that, after the February 8, 2024 elections, six new political parties were registered with the ECP. These include the Balochistan National Alliance, Pakistan Awami Quwat, Pakistan Khidmat-e-Khalq League, Technology Movement Pakistan, and Pashtunkhwa Awami National Party in 2024. In 2025, the Awam Pakistan Party became the first political party to be registered. With this, the total number of registered political parties with the Election Commission has risen to 168.
