Haris Zeb has started pre-season training with Auckland City


The participation of a Pakistani player in the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time has been confirmed.
Pakistani footballer Haris Zeb has signed a contract with the New Zealand Auckland City club.
Auckland City will participate in this year's FIFA Club World Cup. It qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup by winning the Oceania Champions League.
Auckland will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup against German club Bayern Munich, Argentine Boca Juniors, and Portuguese club Benfica.
Haris Zeb has started pre-season training with Auckland City.
23-year-old Haris was called up to the Pakistan team for the 2023 four-nation tournament. Due to injury, he could not play in the event in Mauritius.
Born in New Zealand in 2001, Haris holds both Pakistani and New Zealand citizenship. Based on his Pakistani citizenship, Haris Zeb is eligible to represent the Pakistan football team.
The young footballer has already informed the Pakistan Football Federation of his availability.
