Islamabad: Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has been issued a fresh notice by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in New York apartment case.

According to details, the PPP leader has moved Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking an interim bail in a fresh inquiry pertaining to a New York apartment allegedly owned by him.
After anti-corruption watchdog served him a notice, the former president moved a bail petition in the IHC. The NAB has also sent him a questionnaire to provide information about his Belair apartment.
Attaching his medical report with the bail petition, the PPP leader has requested IHC to grant him pre-arrest bail until the trial of the case is concluded.
Asif Ali Zardari is facing a number of NAB references stemming from the fake bank accounts scam. He is presently out on bail in all these cases.
