Mumbai: Bollywood's famous dancing girl and Moroccan Nora Fatehi became the victim of a strange and false news a day before her birthday.
According to Indian media reports, false news about Nora Fatehi, who brought life to the stage with her signature dance moves, went viral that she had passed away in an accident.
In a misleading video that spread like wildfire on social media, a woman was seen falling down a mountain.
On the viral video clip, a social media user wrote, ‘The death of famous Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi is bad news for Bollywood’.
Later, this video went viral on social media, however, there is no truth in these claims and Indian media confirmed that Nora is alive and well.
According to reports, the video has been declared fake, apparently created to mislead the public and spread unnecessary fear and panic.
Social media users have strongly criticized those who spread false and inaccurate news about Nora.
It is pertinent to note that this is not the first time that false news about the death of a star has went viral on social media.
