Angelina Jolie opens up about quitting smoking
Actress reveals she smokes two packs of cigarettes earlier

(Web Desk): Angelina Jolie has opened up about her past smoking habit.
The 49-year-old actress revealed that she used to smoke two packs of cigarettes a day before she starred as Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’.
During a Q&A session with film critic Leonard Maltin at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Angelina shared how taking on the role of the iconic video game character forced her to quit smoking.
She admitted, "I came in smoking two packs a day and completely had to change my health and my life."
The ‘Maleficent’ star also explained how she trained intensely for her role in the 2001 film, which pushed her to break free from her unhealthy habits. "For ‘Tomb Raider’, there were a few months of just nothing but multiple training sessions a day: morning, noon, and night," she said. "And I didn’t want anything but good food, water, and sleep at a certain point."
Jolie said that the training changed her mindset and lifestyle. "I never did it again… Well, I think I did once or twice," she added.
