WhatsApp introduces long-awaited feature in beta version
WhatsApp Android users will now be able to edit and change caption of an album even after sending it to their friends

(Web Desk): A new feature is being added for WhatsApp Android users, which they have always felt was missing.
According to a report by wabetainfo, a new feature has been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android users. This feature will allow users to edit the captions of their photos or video albums.
Yes, really! WhatsApp Android users will now be able to edit and change the caption of an album even after sending it to their friends.
Currently, when you send an album in a WhatsApp chat, it is not possible to edit the caption afterward. This is because albums are handled differently from single text messages by WhatsApp. While you can edit a single text message within a specific time after sending it, this option has not been available for albums until now.
This means that if you make a mistake in the caption or forget to include something important when sharing albums, you would have to delete the entire album and resend it.
This is why WhatsApp has introduced this new feature for user convenience in the beta version for Android devices.
The report mentioned that with this new feature, users will be able to edit the caption within 15 minutes of sending the album.
If they notice any mistake or want to add something new to the caption, they will not need to delete the entire album and resend it.
According to the report, users have been waiting for this feature for quite some time, and now they can finally use it.
As mentioned earlier, this feature has been introduced in the beta version, so it is still uncertain when it will be available to all users.
