‘Both prisoners were rushed to the hospital, but they passed away on the way’

Rawalpindi: Two prisoners have passed away in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail.
According to sources, Muhammad Amin, a prisoner from Rawat, passed away in Adiala Jail due to a heart condition. The sources mentioned that the prisoner was taken to Rawalpindi Cardiology Hospital due to his heart ailment, but he passed away on the way to the hospital.
Jail sources stated that the deceased prisoner was in Adiala Jail in a check dishonor case.
The second prisoner in Adiala Jail, Ilyas Nazar, also passed away. According to jail sources, Ilyas Nazar was being transferred to PIMS Hospital due to health issues, but he too died on the way to the hospital.
Jail sources revealed that prisoner Ilyas Nazar was arrested in a drug-related case.
