ISPR says operations took place in DI Khan, North Waziristan, Lakki Marwat and Khyber districts

Rawalpindi: Security forces killed at least 13 terrorists during five separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 12 and 13, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.
“On 12-13 February 2025, 13 Khwarij were sent to hell in five separate engagements in KP province,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
One of the operations took place in the Khulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, where security forces had intelligence about terrorists. During this operation, five terrorists were killed, including one named Shah Gul, also known as Rohani.
In North Waziristan, two separate encounters took place in the Dosali and Tappi areas. In these, five terrorists were killed after a firefight with security forces.
Another operation in Lakki Marwat resulted in the death of two more terrorists, while a fourth encounter in the Bagh area of Khyber district led to the death of one terrorist.
The security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists. These militants had been involved in many attacks on security forces and had killed innocent civilians.
Sanitization operations were launched to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, as per the military's media wing.
