WhatsApp's major, best feature of 2025 introduced

California: WhatsApp has introduced the first major and best feature of 2025 to its users.

Meta has announced the addition of colorful chat themes to WhatsApp.

This is a feature that is already present in Meta's other apps Instagram and Facebook Messenger and has now been made a part of WhatsApp.

According to a statement issued by the company, the chat themes feature has been introduced for iOS and Android users.

The statement said: ‘You demanded it and that is why we are introducing the chat themes feature so that your chats become unique with colorful chat bubbles and new wallpapers’.

By the way, WhatsApp already allows users to choose the chat background, while the option of light and color modes is also available, but the color of text bubbles does not change.

But now users will be able to change the color of their chat bubbles and they will be able to change both the background and bubbles through preset themes.

Similarly, users will be able to choose 30 new wallpapers or choose an image from their photo library for the background.

You will be able to choose the same theme for all WhatsApp chats or you can also choose different themes for each chat.

It is pertinent to note that WhatsApp themes will only be visible to you, other people will not know which theme you are using for your chat window.

To use this feature, go to WhatsApp settings, click on Chats, and then click on the Default Chat Theme option.

According to the company, the feature has started rolling out and will be available to users worldwide in the coming weeks.
