Users around the world can now access translation tools in Direct Messages and translate messages in 99 languages

(Web Desk): Instagram has introduced several new features in Direct Messages (DMs) for users. The company recently announced these features and hinted that Instagram's Direct Messages have now become an alternative to Apple iMessage and other apps.
According to the company, users around the world can now access translation tools in Direct Messages and translate messages in 99 languages.
Additionally, a new feature has been introduced for iOS and Android users, allowing them to share music. To access this feature, users can click the sticker button on the chat composer screen and then select the music option. There, they can search for various music clips and share a 30-second clip in group chats or broadcast channels.
Another new feature is the ability to pin messages. This feature allows users to pin messages in Direct Messages, which will appear at the top of the chat window. According to the company, users can pin up to 3 messages in each chat.
For user convenience, Instagram has also added a message scheduling feature in Direct Messages. With this feature, users can schedule messages up to 29 days in advance.
The final feature relates to adding friends to group chats. Under this feature, users can send a QR code to their friends, which will essentially serve as an invitation to join a group chat.
