WhatsApp to introduce sticker photo editing feature for status updates
Feature will let users change shape of sticker photos before adding them to their status

Web Desk: WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to edit sticker photos for their status updates. This feature is still being developed and will be available in a future update.
The feature, being tested by WhatsApp, will let users change the shape of sticker photos before adding them to their status. There will be several shapes to choose from, including two rectangular options (landscape and portrait), square, circle, heart, and star. These shapes will help users personalize their status updates.
The rectangular and square shapes are ideal for creating a collage effect. This will allow users to arrange multiple images in an organized way within one status update. It will make it easier to share a series of related pictures in one post. On the other hand, the circular, heart, and star shapes are more for decoration. They allow users to add a creative and eye-catching touch to their photos.
For example, the heart shape could be used to share a romantic moment, while the star shape could help make a photo stand out. The circle shape might be used for profile-like pictures or to focus on a specific part of an image.
This upcoming feature will give WhatsApp users more ways to express themselves, match their photos to different moods, and make their status updates more engaging. The feature is still being refined but will soon be available for beta testers.
