(Web Desk): A Sudanese military aircraft crashed near the capital, Khartoum, on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of 46 people.
The crash occurred due to a technical malfunction, as reported by a foreign news agency. The victims included both military personnel and civilians.
According to Sudanese media, the aircraft crashed into the house of a civilian, causing significant destruction. The crash site has drawn attention to the ongoing conflict in Sudan, where the country has been embroiled in a civil war since 2023.
The Sudanese military has been engaged in intense fighting with an armed group known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which had previously worked alongside government forces but is now fighting against them.
