Chromebooks will be provided to institutions within two months


Islamabad: The Federal Ministry of Education has taken a major step towards providing Chromebooks to government educational institutions in Islamabad and awarded a contract for the supply of 8,000 Chromebooks through online bidding.
According to the details, online tenders were opened in this regard at the National Book Foundation, and representatives of companies participated in the ceremony for the supply of Chromebooks.
On this occasion, committee members opened online tender documents, and 11 companies applied for tenders. However, 10 companies participated in the financial tenders, and the contract was awarded to the company that offered the lowest bid.
Committee member Talat Saeed said that Chromebooks will be provided to the institutions within two months, and strict measures will be taken to ensure that the company offering the lowest bid provides quality Chromebooks.
