Incident occurred in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand

(Web Desk): A snow avalanche in the Indian state of Uttarakhand has trapped 57 people.
According to Indian media, the incident occurred in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, where workers engaged in road construction were buried under the avalanche.
The report states that initially, 57 individuals were trapped under the snow, of which 16 have been rescued so far, while 41 people are still buried under the debris.
According to Indian media, all the workers were employed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
