OpenAI launches GPT-4.5 with enhanced emotional intelligence, contextual understanding
Company states that users will feel like they are conversing with real person when interacting with it

(Web Desk): OpenAI has introduced its most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) model to date, GPT-4.5. This new model is designed to assist with all kinds of tasks. It is available on ChatGPT, but to use it, one must become a Pro subscriber, which requires paying a monthly fee of $200.
According to the company, this new model has been introduced as a research preview, meaning it is still a work in progress. OpenAI expects users to help identify any flaws or bugs in the new model.
The company claims that early users have described GPT-4.5 as being significantly improved and equipped with emotional intelligence. GPT-4.5 is said to be better than previous models in understanding the context of inquiries and will even be able to recognize social cues. In fact, the company states that users will feel like they are conversing with a real person when interacting with it.
OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, mentioned in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that this is the first AI model that makes users feel as though they are speaking with a thoughtful individual. He also shared that GPT-4.5 will soon be available to ChatGPT Plus users.
The company acknowledged that the AI model still does not possess the ability to think independently, but it will be better at understanding cues.
