Pervez Khattak asked me to take money in 2018 Senate elections, reveals former MPA

Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly lawmaker Ubaid Ullah Mayar while talking to GNN said that the then Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and now Federal Defence Minister Pervaiz Khatak asked him to take money for voting in 2018 Senate elections.

In a leaked video that surfaced today, the former MPA was seen counting bunch of currencies and hiding in the bag. Talking to GNN he revealed that while sitting in KP Provincial Assembly Speaker house he was directed by Pervaiz Khattak to take the money and the leaked-video was also recorded on his diections.

Giving the break-up, he said that KP Assembly members received millions of rupees to sale their votes in the Senate elections.

Allegedly MPAs had “sold their conscience” for Rs1.2 billion in 2018 Senate elections.
