Member KP said that PTI intra-party elections are controversial

Islamabad: During the hearing of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intra-party elections case, questions arose regarding the running of the party’s internal affairs.
The PTI intra-party election case was heard by a three-member commission headed by Member Sindh Nisar Durrani in the Election Commission, in which Barrister Gohar, Akbar S. Babar, and others appeared before the ECP.
During the hearing, Member KP inquired who is running the internal affairs of PTI. Salman Akram Raja’s name is highlighted in the media, and what is his role in the party? PTI intra-party elections are controversial.
Barrister Gohar said on this occasion that we are running matters only under indoor management, when you give the certificate, then the matter will be resolved.
The Member Election Commission said that the High Court should lift the stay order, to which Barrister Gohar replied that there is no stay order regarding the proceedings of this case.
The ECP member added that this case is not a trial, and it is not possible to reserve the decision on it and wait for the court's decision. The documents you have provided are not complete.
Akbar S. Babar said on this occasion that this is a matter of public importance. The ECP has also declared the intra-party election as controversial in the Supreme Court. We want the ECP to announce its decision on it today.
Later, the Election Commission of Pakistan adjourned the next hearing of the PTI intra-party election case until April 8.
