Casualties and injuries of civilians were reported in explosion

The security forces foiled a terrorist attack of Fitna-al-Khwarij on Bannu Cantt today and killed six Khwarij terrorists at different entry points of the Cantonment.
According to security sources, terrorists made a failed attempt to enter Bannu Cantt after Iftar this evening. However, they got panicked by the timely response of the security forces and rammed two explosive-laden vehicles into the wall of the Cantonment.
The security sources further said that reportedly nine innocent civilians were martyred and sixteen others were injured as the Khawarij terrorists detonated an explosion laden vehicle in bazaar area adjacent to Bannu Cantt. The blast also destroyed a nearby mosque.
The security forces killed six Khwarij terrorists and surrounded the remaining ones.
The clearance operation of security forces will be continued until the complete elimination of all the Khwarij.
