Indian director Anurag Kashyap bids farewell to Bollywood
He expressed disappointment with Hindi film industry


Mumbai: India's famous director Anurag Kashyap has said goodbye to the Bollywood industry.
According to Indian media, Anurag Kashyap has officially confirmed his exit from Bollywood and called the industry toxic, which only revolves around box office numbers.
Anurag, the director of popular films like Gangs of Wasseypur, spoke to Indian media and expressed his disappointment with the Hindi film industry, revealing that he has left Mumbai.
According to Indian media, Anurag Kashyap says: “I want to stay away from people in the Bollywood film world. This industry has become very toxic. Everyone is running after unrealistic goals, trying to make the next film worth INR5 or 8 billion which is leading towards the uncreative atmosphere”.
It is also reported that Anurag has left Mumbai and possibly moved to Bangalore.
Anurag Kashyap had expressed his disappointment with Bollywood in the past and expressed his desire to work in the South film industry to get a more creative and satisfying experience.
In December last year, Anurag said in a statement that he was completely disappointed with Bollywood.
It is pertinent to note that director Anurag Kashyap is an Indian filmmaker who has introduced many stars, among them Nawazuddin Siddiqui's name is at the top of the list.
