Gunmen open fire at Toronto pub, 12 injured

(Web Desk): In a shocking incident in Toronto, Canada's largest city, three masked gunmen opened fire at a local pub, leaving 12 people injured, including six who were shot.

The attackers, armed with an assault rifle and handguns, entered the pub in the eastern part of the city and began shooting indiscriminately, police reported.

Toronto police released a statement on the social media platform "X," confirming that while all 12 victims were injured, none of the wounds were life-threatening. "12 people were injured, including six who were shot, but none are in life-threatening condition," the police said. The identities of the gunmen remain unknown, and the motive behind the shooting is still unclear.

Superintendent Paul McIntyre of the Toronto Police Department explained that the attackers began firing as soon as they entered the establishment. "The suspects were armed with an assault rifle and handguns, and they started shooting indiscriminately as soon as they entered the pub," McIntyre said.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, gathering evidence, and working to determine the reasons behind the attack. The police have urged the public to come forward with any information that may assist in their inquiry.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and Toronto police are continuing their efforts to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
