Minister directs railway officials to ensure safety of passengers and their property


Islamabad: Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi has announced the operation of special trains during Eid and a reduction in fares.
Hanif Abbasi directed railway officials to ensure the safety of passengers and their property, and emphasized the installation of surveillance equipment to prevent any accidents.
He mentioned that efforts would be made to increase railway revenue and reduce expenses.
Abbasi stated that special trains would start from the 25th of Ramadan, and fares would be reduced for Eid.
The Railway Minister also mentioned that remittances have increased, and discussions are ongoing with various countries regarding the ML-1 project.
It is worth noting that Hanif Abbasi was recently included in the federal cabinet and was appointed as the Railway Minister just three days ago.
