Nadia Hussain speaks up about husband's arrest
Actress was asked for bribe of Rs30 million by said fraudster

Karachi: Model and actress Nadia Hussain finally broke her silence after her husband's arrest.
Nadia Hussain shared her video statement on Instagram on March 12 and also leaked the chats and audio of the caller who pretended to be an FIA officer.
The actress was asked for a bribe of Rs30 million by the said fraudster.
She claimed that an FIA officer had demanded a huge bribe for the bail of her husband, who was arrested on charges of financial fraud.
According to the screenshots, the fraud caller told Nadia that her husband Atif Muhammad Khan had settled all the matters and, that she should transfer the money. The caller also tried to intimidate Nadia Hussain and told her that this matter should remain between her and the caller.
Nadia said in her video statement, ‘Many of you were waiting for my reaction to the arrest of my husband by the FIA in a fraud case’.
‘Indeed, my husband is currently in FIA custody, but only for investigation. If I talk about the case, were the security guards sleeping that such a big fraud happened under their noses,’ she stated
The model added, “Now, how much of my husband's hand is in this, whether he is or not, time and the court will decide. I am silent because of my lawyers. My husband is in custody but is very calm. The FIA is taking care of him and he is there safely”.
