Government decides to release salaries and pensions on March 27


Islamabad: The federal government has announced that it will pay salaries and pensions to government employees before Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Eid is expected to fall on March 31 or April 1. In preparation, the government has decided to release salaries and pensions on March 27. The Ministry has issued an official notification confirming that both salaries for government employees and pensions for retirees will be paid on this date.
Additionally, the Ministry has sent a letter to the Controller General of Accounts to ensure the timely payment of salaries and pensions.
This decision aims to provide financial support to government workers and retirees ahead of the Eid celebrations.
