Meeting also discussed regional and international situation


Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, in which bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday along with a delegation on a four-day visit, where the Deputy Governor of Mecca, Prince Saud, received the Prime Minister.
Later, the Prime Minister met with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in Jeddah, in which Pak-Saudi investment and trade issues were discussed.
The meeting also discussed the regional and international situation, and the two leaders also discussed promoting Pak-Saudi military cooperation.
Army Chief General Asim Munir also accompanied Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on this occasion.
It is pertinent to note that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s delegation to Saudi Arabia includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and federal ministers.
The Prime Minister will perform Umrah and will also visit the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
