Captain Hasnain Akhtar was martyred in the exchange of fire
DI Khan: 10 Khawarij were killed in an operation by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan, while a captain of the Pakistan Army was martyred in the firing of terrorists.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan in which 10 Khawarij were killed.
According to the ISPR, Captain Hasnain Akhtar was martyred in the exchange of fire.
The ISPR said that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the Khawarij killed during the operation. The slain terrorists were involved in several terrorist activities and were also involved in the targeted killing of innocent civilians.
The ISPR added that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate other possible Khawarij in the area.
Captain Hasnain Akhtar Shaheed belongs to Jhelum district. He served the country for four years. Captain Hasnain leaves behind his parents and siblings among the mourners.
