Pakistan Railways has announced a 20 percent reduction in fares, providing relief to passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to railway officials, this reduction will apply to all mail, express, and inter-city passenger trains.
The reduction in fares will be applicable on bookings for the three days of Eid so that passengers can travel at cheaper fares on the occasion of Eid.
However, railway officials have made it clear that the reduction in fares will not be applicable on Eid special trains.
This step has been taken by Pakistan Railways for public convenience so that more ease and affordability can be provided to passengers traveling to participate in the Eid festivities.
