Instagram adds new feature based on AI
Feature called ‘Write with Meta AI’ is being tested on Instagram

California: In recent months, Meta has introduced several features based on artificial intelligence (AI) to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Now Meta wants you to use artificial intelligence to connect with friends.
For this purpose, a new feature is being tested on Instagram, through which AI technology will help users write comments on the photo-sharing app.
A feature called ‘Write with Meta AI’ is being tested on Instagram.
Users who have this feature will be able to see a pencil icon at the bottom of a post.
Clicking this icon will give users access to Meta AI, and this AI chatbot will analyze the image and provide suggestions for comments.
A Meta spokesperson said that we often test new features based on Meta AI in our apps.
According to the spokesperson, apart from direct messages, you can use Meta AI by searching in comments, feeds, groups, searches, etc. to make this AI chatbot more useful.
Meta did not say anything about the general availability of this new AI feature.
However, the company said that the AI-based comments feature was also tested on Facebook in 2024.
