Petition stated that govt should implement Animal Birth Control Policy

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a stay order against the ongoing dog-killing campaign in the Lahore Division and ordered the campaign to be stopped immediately.
Justice Shahid Karim heard the petitions of petitioner Iraj Hassan and others. Advocate Altamish Saeed appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioners.
The court has sought a response from the Punjab government and other parties at the next hearing. The court has ordered the government lawyer to appear at the next hearing with instructions.
The petition has taken the position that the government should ensure the implementation of the Animal Birth Control Policy.
