Quetta: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has taken into custody four alleged facilitators of the Jaffar Express attack, reportedly.
According to media reports, the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express is ongoing and CTD is working with other agencies to investigate and identify the attackers.
The reports suggest that four alleged facilitators of the attack have been taken into custody, and forensic analysis of the weapons and communication devices used by the slain attackers is underway.
The fingerprints of the slain attackers have been sent to NADRA for identification, while the body parts of the slain attackers have also been sent to the forensic agency, added the report.
It is pertinent to note that the Jaffar Express, which was going from Quetta to Peshawar, was hijacked by BLA terrorists near Sibi, and the passengers, including women and children, were kidnapped.
All 33 terrorists were killed in the timely response of Pakistani forces, while the terrorists had martyred 25 people, including four Pakistan Army soldiers, in the firing.
