WhatsApp introduces motion photos feature for Android users
This feature is currently available in beta version to limited number of users

(Web Desk): A new and useful feature has been added to WhatsApp.
According to a report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp is testing a new feature for Android users. With this feature, users will be able to share motion photos in individual chats, group chats, and channels.
Motion photos refer to short audio and video clips that users can record while taking a picture and then send to friends.
The report stated that this feature has been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices and is available to a limited number of users. A similar feature is already available to iPhone users in the form of live photos on WhatsApp, and now Meta’s messaging app is determined to roll it out to all Android users.
The report further mentioned that once the feature is officially available to users, they will be able to send and receive motion photos through the app. A new button will be added to WhatsApp, allowing users to share either motion pictures or regular photos with friends.
For users whose phones do not support motion photos, the shared file will appear as an unsupported file type.
As mentioned earlier, this feature is currently available in the beta version to a limited number of users, so it is difficult to predict when it will be made available to all users.
