Immediate legal action should be taken against those charging excessive fares

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has ordered a crackdown against transporters who charge high fares on Eid.
Maryam Nawaz has directed steps to ensure the implementation of the fixed fares and said that Deputy Commissioners should monitor to prevent the collection of excessive fares.
She stated that exploitation of poor passengers returning home will not be allowed, and immediate legal action should be taken against those who charge excessive fares.
