(Web Desk): A deadly explosion at a fireworks factory in Gujarat, India, has killed 17 workers.
The blast happened in the town of Disa at Deepak Traders, a fireworks facility. The explosion caused a massive fire that quickly spread, leading to chaos in the area.
Local authorities said the blast was so powerful that parts of the building collapsed, making it harder for rescue teams to reach the workers. Firefighters from Disa Municipality and ambulance teams rushed to the site to help.
At first, reports said six people had died, but the death toll later increased as firefighters were able to control the fire and search through the rubble. The fire is believed to have been caused by a boiler explosion, which severely damaged the building.
The fire has been brought under control, but teams are still working to cool down the area and search for any survivors. Authorities have started investigating the cause of the explosion and are looking into ways to improve safety for workers in such dangerous environments.
