Farooq Hamid represented Pakistan against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1964

(Web Desk): Former Pakistan Test cricketer Farooq Hamid has passed away.
Family sources have confirmed the death of the former cricketer.
Farooq Hamid was 80 years old. He represented Pakistan in one Test match and played 43 first-class matches, in which he took 111 wickets.
Farooq Hamid represented Pakistan against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1964.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed its condolences over the passing of Test fast bowler Farooq Hamid.
PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, also expressed his sorrow over Farooq Hamid's death. He prayed for the deceased’s higher status and said, "May Allah grant the bereaved family the strength to bear this loss. Ameen."
