Pakistan ranked 195th and was included in the list of weakest passports


New York: Ireland has been named the world's most powerful passport in the new Nomad Capitalist 2025 ranking, which assesses the strength of passports.
The ranking took into account five key factors such as visa-free travel, taxation of citizens, dual citizenship, personal freedom, and global reputation.
Ireland ranked first with 109 points, whose citizens can travel to 176 countries without a visa.
Greece and Switzerland ranked second with 108 points, while Portugal got the fourth position.
Other strong passports include Malta, Finland, Norway, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, and Iceland.
Pakistan ranked 195th and was included in the list of weakest passports. According to the list, Pakistan's passport is tied with Eritrea at 195th place, while Iraq (196), Yemen (198), and Afghanistan (199) are at the bottom.
Interestingly, Japan and Singapore, which topped other rankings, were down this time, which has been attributed to the dual citizenship and strict tax policies of these countries.
