Balochistan Sunday has recorded an increase in the positivity ratio of COVID cases where during the last 24 hours, the spread rate in the province has increased from 8.3 to 9.3%.

According to the data released by the Balochistan Health Department, the rate of COVID cases in Quetta has increased from 6 to 8% while 98 positive cases of corona have been reported from 7 districts of the province in 24 hours.
According to a report released by the provincial Health Department, 1,039 coronavirus tests were conducted in eight districts of the province on Saturday, resulting in 98 positive cases.
The highest number of 79 positive cases were reported in Quetta district following 11 cases were reported from Ketch district and 4 cases from Awaran.
No coronavirus test was conducted in 25 districts of the province.
It should be noted that 27,961 coronavirus cases have been reported in Balochistan so far where 317 people have died from this disease.
On the other hand, fears of a fourth wave of coronavirus outbreaks in Pakistan are on the rise.
Coronavirus cases are on the rise in the country where the COVID positivity rate has gone above 4%.
According to the National Command and Control Center (NCOC), 1,980 more cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, with another 27 people losing their lives to the outbreak.
A further 908 corona patients recovered, while the positive case rate was 4.09%.
The total number of people dying from coronavirus in the country has reached 22,582 while the total number of corona patients has reached 973,284.
