Security forces conducted operation in Takwara on night of April 6 and 7


DI Khan: Security forces killed nine Khawarij terrorists, including a highly wanted terrorist commander, in an operation in the Takwara area of Dera Ismail Khan on intelligence inputs.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an operation in Takwara on the night of April 6 and 7, during which nine Khawarij terrorists were killed after an exchange of fire.
According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain Khawarij terrorists. The slain terrorists include the leader Shireen of a foreign group who was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Shireen was involved in the targeted killing of many innocent civilians. The terrorist Shireen was also responsible for the martyrdom of Captain Hasnain Akhtar.
A clearance operation is underway in the area, and Pakistani forces are determined to eliminate terrorism, added ISPR.
President Asif Ali Zardari, while paying tribute to the security forces for the successful security operation against terrorists in DI Khan, said that killing the leader of the terrorists in the operation was a great achievement of the security forces.
The President stated that the operations of the forces will continue until the complete elimination of terrorists. It is gratifying that the security forces of Pakistan are carrying out successful operations to eliminate terrorism. Our resolve to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country will remain unwavering.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while paying tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against the Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists in DI Khan, said that the entire nation stands with the security forces in the war against terrorism. We are determined to eliminate all types of terrorism from the country.
