Rawalpindi: Defending champions Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars by 8 wickets in the HBL Pakistan Super League 10 (PSL) opening match.

Defending champions Islamabad United won the toss and elected to field against Lahore Qalandars in the match played at Rawalpindi Stadium.

Lahore Qalandars’ team was dismissed for 139 runs in the last over. Qalandars’ Abdullah Shafiq played innings of 66 runs and hit 3 sixes and 6 fours, Sikandar Raza scored 23 runs, and Haris Rauf scored 10 and Muhammad Naeem scored 8 runs.
Shaheen Afridi and Asif Afridi scored 2 runs each while Sam Billings, Jehandad Khan, and David Wisa were dismissed for zero.
