The program will also include advanced coaching, access to top training facilities, and personalized mentoring

(Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a new plan to support Afghan women cricketers who have been displaced.
A special task force will be set up to help them, along with a dedicated fund to provide direct financial support. This will ensure the players have the resources they need to keep playing cricket.
The program will also include advanced coaching, access to top training facilities, and personalized mentoring to help the cricketers develop their skills and reach their full potential.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah said that the organization is strongly committed to making cricket inclusive and giving every player a fair chance, no matter their situation. “We are proud to launch this support program and help these women continue their journey in the sport,” he said.
The initiative is being carried out in partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and Cricket Australia, showing strong international support for the cause.
