Bangladesh model arrested amid claims of damaging foreign relations

(Web Desk): A Bangladeshi model, Meghna Alam, has been arrested for allegedly threatening the country’s diplomatic relations, according to police.

The 30-year-old is being held without charge after accusing prominent individuals to harm Bangladesh's ties with other nations.

Meghna's father, Badrul Alam, claims her arrest is linked to a past relationship with the former Saudi ambassador to Dhaka.

He said Meghna declined the ambassador's marriage proposal, citing his existing family, which he believes triggered the controversy.

The case has raised concerns about diplomatic tensions between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.
