Hotel is expected to play a key role in improving logistics and traffic flow during cricket matches

Lahore: The Punjab Assembly has decided to build a five-star hotel adjacent to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, aiming to enhance infrastructure and ease traffic congestion during major cricket events.
The decision was passed through a resolution during Tuesday’s session of the Punjab Assembly, chaired by Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan.
Strict security measures have previously caused traffic congestion on main roads during cricket series held at the stadium.
Officials stated that the construction of the hotel is part of broader efforts to boost the city’s hospitality sector and provide world-class facilities for international teams and tourists. The hotel is expected to play a key role in improving logistics and traffic flow during cricket matches and large-scale events at the stadium.
