Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the army budget and soldiers salaries have always increased under Nawaz Sharif’s regime.

Addressing an election rally in Lepa Valley of Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Monday, she said, "Many people are propagandizing against Nawaz Sharif for their self-interest and say that Nawaz Sharif is against the military establishment, Shame on them.”
Maryam Nawaz said that young men of the Pak Army were seen in various places in Neelum Valley and Lepa Valley who protect us from the enemy.
"I fell in love with the young men in uniform. I greeted them and most of them saluted me. This made an immediate connection with them."
The PML-N vice-president said that due to the ineptitude and incompetence of Imran Khan, the family members of the soldiers who are doing their duty for the Nation will also be disturbed by the inflation.
She said that although Imran Khan has been selected however the salaries of soldiers have not been increased in the present PTI era.
According to Maryam Nawaz, the salaries of soldiers were last increased under Nawaz Sharif’s era.
Many people propagandize against Nawaz Sharif for their interest that Nawaz Sharif is against the military establishment, these people should be ashamed.
Whenever the budget and salaries of the army increase, they always increase in the PML-N government.
Addressing the election rally, Maryam Nawaz added, "It cannot happen if someone deprives Kashmiris of their rights and Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz sit and watch. The people of Kashmir are strong and independent.”
The PML-N leader criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying "the people of Kashmir will not vote for flour and sugar thieves."
The PML-N leader said their corruption narrative has fallen flat on its face, as she claimed that PM Imran Khan has to "steal" elections to win against Nawaz.
The incumbent government, even after three years, has failed to prove corruption against Nawaz, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz, Maryam added.
